IT Technician

Description: Installed, configured, and maintained computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners. Monitored IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance. Responded promptly to technical support requests and resolved hardware and software issues. Performed routine maintenance, updates, and system backups. Set up user accounts, profiles, and access permissions. Maintained accurate records of IT equipment and software licenses. Ensured compliance with data security, privacy, and backup procedures. Assisted with IT projects, system upgrades, and network improvements. Documented IT procedures, incidents, and resolutions. Liaised with external vendors and service providers as required. Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma or Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 25 years experience in IT support or technician roles.
