Facilitates the transmission of meds-to-beds prescriptions to the pharmacy. Performs data entry. Delivers medications to patients prior to discharge. Also functions as a pharmacy technician within the Community Pharmacy when needed. Promotes the meds-to-beds discharge prescription program. Facilitates processing, payment, and delivery of meds-to-beds prescriptions. Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers in the Community Pharmacy. Assists in delivering medication to appropriate customers using proper identifiers and allows them the opportunity to speak with a pharmacist. Performs prescription and refill data entry and dispensing duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with federal and state laws, ensuring minimal errors. Processes prescriptions and refills to appropriate PBMs in accordance with their dispensing parameters. Assists in resolving third-party rejections. Assists in inventory control.
