Job Description
Role Overview This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design within a supportive and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in the design and development of building services systems, specifically, MEP, HVAC and controls. You will be contributing to real-world engineering projects from concept through to delivery. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Chartered / Senior Engineering role. Key Responsibilities Support the design and development of mechanical services systems. Produce accurate 2D drawings using Autocad MEP Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications, reports, operation and maintenance manuals. Participate in Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning system design reviews and contribute to engineering problem-solving Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and health & safety regulations Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team Qualifications & Skills Degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Two to three years post graduate experience working in an MEP design role. Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to learn and grow within a professional engineering environment CIBSE member
