Sales Executive

Pay: £30,000.00 per year Job Description: Location: Tilbury, Essex Salary: £30,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and ambitious Trainee Sales Executive to join a fast-growing logistics company based in Tilbury. This is an excellent entry point into the logistics and freight forwarding industry, offering full training and the opportunity to progress into a Business Development or Account Management position. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and learning the end-to-end process of international logistics and eCommerce distribution. Key Responsibilities Identify and contact potential new customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce logistics solutions. Support senior sales staff with quoting, pricing, and proposal preparation. Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer data and activity records. Assist in developing long-term relationships with key clients and partners. Learn the company’s full service offering – including fulfilment, warehousing, transport, and international shipping. Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction. Attend occasional client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to build market knowledge.
