Job Description Job Description Auxiliary Automotive Service Technician Instructor On-call/as-required Duties: This is an Auxiliary, on-call/as required position to backfill the regular, full-time position to provide instruction for our Automotive Service Technician program. To view course descriptions and course outlines, go to the College webpage course descriptions and course outlines Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the Automotive Service Industry. You will also have an Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certification and a minimum of five years of work experience in the automotive field. In addition to excellent organizational, computer and interpersonal skills, previous teaching experience with adults would be an asset. Experience working with apprentices and/or additional trades certificates are also assets. As an employee of College of the Rockies, the successful candidate is expected to be a lifelong learner who continues to develop his/her skills to help the College meet the needs of our students and our other valued clients. Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check. Salary: As per the Faculty Salary Schedule and depending on qualifications, instructional and related work experience, the salary for auxiliary employees is $44.89 to $60.26 per hour (this includes 16% in lieu of benefits and vacation) based on qualifications and experience.
