Fleet Controller (Road Freight/Logistics - Trucks)

Fleet Controller (Transport/Trucks Industry) Afrikaans Location: [Pretoria] Capture and update loads on Soloplan and assist the Planner with truck allocations Issue and communicate loading instructions to drivers and monitor all truck movements Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries; update clients and stakeholders on delays Verify PODs and documentation submissions via in-cab tablets Monitor diesel usage and driver performance; report inefficiencies Conduct driver debriefs and manage attendance and time-off Liaise with clients and resolve operational issues promptly Report breakdowns and follow up on ETAs Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 Transport/Logistics qualification an advantage 35 years experience as a Fleet Controller in road freight/logistics Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Fleet Systems Soloplan advantageous) Experience with tautliners/tipper trucks (mining experience preferred) Fluent in English & Afrikaans Valid drivers licence and own transport
