Hairburst sits where beauty meets wellbeing We design effective, habit-forming hair growth solutions and the experiences that keep customers coming back. Clear routines, measurable results, products that earn a permanent spot in the bathroom. We're owner-operators. In 2014 our founders launched Hairburst with £4k; in 2021 the brand joined a FTSE-100 group (JD Sports); in 2023 the founders bought back 100% to build the company we always wanted to run. Today we're in Boots, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, on marketplaces and DTC across nine territories, backed by 1M customers. Now we're scaling fast—which means operations can't be an afterthought. Why this role matters We promise customers clear routines and measurable results. You make sure we keep that promise; orders processed fast, stock flowing smoothly, deliveries landing on time. This isn't admin. It's the operational backbone that lets Sales sell, Finance forecast, and customers trust us. When you're good at this job, nobody notices. When you're great, the whole business moves faster. Who this works for: Operations professionals with 1-3 years who want to level up in a fast-growing brand, or sharp graduates looking for a proper learn-the-business role where you see how everything connects from Sales, Finance, Supply, Warehouse and Logistics. We back potential over pedigree. What you'll own Order-to-delivery excellence : Process sales orders accurately within 24 hours. Coordinate with stock, warehouse, and logistics to hit OTIF (on-time, in-full) targets by customer. Proactive communication : Keep customers and sales teams updated on order status. Deal with issues before they escalate. Arrange collections, documentation, shipping. Stock visibility : Monitor stock levels, flag gaps early, work with Supply Planning to keep availability high. Process improvement : Spot inefficiencies, test fixes, drive operational improvements that save time and money. Cross-functional support : Work with Finance on customer credit, with Sales on priorities, with warehouse on capacity. You're the glue. What success looks like ✓ Orders acknowledged within 24 hours, processed within 24 hours of confirmation ✓ OTIF targets hit consistently across all customers ✓ Proactive communication—customers know where their order is without chasing ✓ Stock issues flagged early; supply planning has visibility to act ✓ Shipping arranged within 5 days max (or per delivery date) ✓ At least one process improvement delivered per quarter that measurably improves speed or cost About you Reliable and organised : You do what you say you'll do. Multiple orders, customers, deadlines—you keep it all straight. Nothing falls through the cracks. Proactive by instinct : You spot problems early and fix them before anyone asks. You don't wait to be told. Calm under pressure :Peak season, urgent orders, last-minute changes—you stay steady and get it done. Process-minded : You notice when something's inefficient and think about how to fix it. You make the work easier for everyone. Clear communicator : You write clean, professional emails. Customers and colleagues understand you the first time. Systems-comfortable : Excel fluent. Quick to learn new platforms (order management, warehouse systems, logistics tools). Hungry to learn : Whether you're 1-3 years into operations or a recent graduate, you want to understand how a fast-growing consumer brand actually works and where you can add value. Signals we're looking for → Operations/logistics/supply chain experience (1-3 years), OR recent graduate with evidence of being organised and reliable (part-time work, society leadership, project delivery) → Proof you've hit service-level targets or delivered projects on time → Examples of process improvements you've spotted or implemented → Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping balls Apply CV 200 words answering: "Tell us about a time when you kept multiple things on track under pressure; whether that's orders, projects, deadlines, or events. What did you learn about staying organised when things get messy?" Plain English. We're looking for how you think, not perfect grammar. Please include your answer in your CV (as an appendix or cover note) and submit via LinkedIn, or email to recruitment@hairburst.com. We'll only acknowledge complete applications (CV answer). If you've taken the time to answer properly, we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
