Management Accountant

We're looking for a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join a friendly, fast-paced team in Waterlooville. Working closely with the Financial Controller and project delivery teams, you'll play a key role in managing the company's core finances and ensuring smooth financial delivery across the business. Main responsibilities Support the Financial Controller with day-to-day management accounts and reporting Maintain accurate financial records across purchase, sales, and nominal ledgers Prepare monthly management packs, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations Manage VAT returns, payroll, pensions, and related submissions Monitor cash flow, assist with forecasts, and provide commercial insights Support Project Managers with financial tracking and reporting Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and automation Assist with compliance reviews and internal financial controls Skills and Knowledge Experienced in finance or management accounts with strong bookkeeping knowledge Skilled in Sage, payroll, and pensions Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheets, lookups, formulas, etc.) Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a busy environment Excellent communication and relationship skills AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA Salary and benefits £40,000 - £45,000 DOE 31 days holiday (including public holidays) Your Birthday off!
