Job Description

Due to the expansion of their operational engineering team thanks to significant, double digit growth, a new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Production Engineer , working with production support to aid with the delivery of a variety of process related, critical projects across a technically complex site. This wide and varied brief will include the proactive management of a range of engineering projects concerning new product introduction , product transfers, Capex , automation opportunities, process improvements and safety related projects. Key skills Ideally educated to degree level in mechanical, chemical, manufacturing or industrial engineering Significant post graduate experience as a production engineer, manufacturing engineer , process engineer or industrial engineer in a machine based , automated or partly automated manufacturing facility Demonstrable experience as a manufacturing engineer leading on projects concerning NPI, capex, automation, safety, process improvement. Experience in a highly regulated sector of manufacturing would be desirable IT and data literate and familiar with production data management ( OEE , SAP/ERP) Sound problem solving skills, root cause analysis , Pareto analysis techniques Able to effectively and successfully engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers as required, working in high performing, multidisciplinary teams Strong project management skills and with a safety first mentality Self-driven, strong initiative, great prioritisation skills, methodical, logical and well organised, and able to really thrive in a multifaceted role Collaborative team player who enjoys working with others in a supportive and close-knit team Happy to liaise with other Group sites internationally, and report on projects at Group level Join this people centric employer as a production engineer in a varied and technically challenging role, on an excellent package to include an attractive bonus of 8%, generous pension and healthcare benefits, and excellent opportunities for learning and progression on a stable site with a low staff turnover This is a days based role, on site in Wrexham.
