Based in Glasgow, this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced electricians to contribute to a prestigious build in a secure and long-term role. ________________________________________ Location: Glasgow Project: Type 26 Frigates Contract Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: PAYE (Inside IR35) Position: Electrician ________________________________________ PAYE Rates: Glasgow Shift Patterns Hourly Rate Standard shift £20.10 or non-local £28.10 Weekend & Nightshift £26.73 or non-local £34.73 ________________________________________ Responsibilities: • Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems on naval vessels • Reading and working from detailed technical drawings and wiring diagrams • Cable pulling, terminations, and general marine electrical works • Ensuring work is completed to MOD standards with strict adherence to H&S ________________________________________ ✅ Requirements: • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship • Previous experience in marine, industrial, or shipbuilding environments preferred • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship ________________________________________ Shifts & Overtime: • Standard day shifts with weekend/night shifts available • Regular overtime opportunities (paid at enhanced rates) ________________________________________ Apply Now Don’t miss your chance to be part of a nationally significant defence programme.
