Multi Trade Operative

Multi-Trade Operative London / Greater London (north, south, east & west) Self-employed – full-time £200 - £250 day rate depending on experience We are looking for skilled and motivated Multi-Traders (multiple roles available) to join a dynamic team at a successful, progressive & professional company on a self-employed full-time basis. Our client is an established contractor working within the insurance claims sector carrying out repairs to private domestic properties within the M25 area/London area. They are looking to recruit a multi-trade operative (in various areas) who will be carrying out a variety of residential property repair works including carpentry, plaster boarding/patch plaster repairs, tiling, kitchen/bathroom fitting, flooring, decorating. You do not need to be an expert in all the above to apply, but we do want someone who has a variety or skills or a specialist trade (as mentioned above). If you have an NVQ / City & Guilds (or similar) or have completed an Apprenticeship this is ideal but not essential - time served will also be considered. UK driving licence is required along with your own van and tools. What you will need: * Multi-trade or specialist trade experience working on residential property repairs (including carpentry) * Experience being able to work from a schedule of rates. * Ability to carry out works to a very high standard and within timescales. * Confidence to work alone or as part of a team. * To be able to work safely and adhere to health and safety at work. * A full UK driving licence is essential as well as having your own van and tools * As you will be liaising with clients/homeowners you will need good communication skills, be well presented and confident with good communication skills.
