The role is integral to a growing multidisciplinary team and involves delivering services through a flexible combination of community outreach, telehealth, and centre-based care. This is a highly mobile position, granting the therapist flexibility to work remotely or from established clinical hubs when not actively engaging with clients. About the Role The Occupational Therapist (OT) operates within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based services via a blend of community, telehealth, and centre-based care. This is a mobile role that offers flexibility, allowing the clinician to work from home or one of the organization's hubs when not engaged with clients. Key Responsibilities The primary duties of the Occupational Therapist include: Assessing and treating clients across diverse needs, encompassing both paediatrics and adults. Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals and functional outcomes. Conducting Assistive Technology (AT) assessments and providing appropriate recommendations. Writing clear and timely reports on client progress and interventions. Managing a varied caseload and meeting established clinical targets. Collaborating with clients' families, referrers, and other key stakeholders. Actively participating in regular supervision and professional development activities. New Graduate Program The organization provides a 12-month new graduate program designed to ensure a seamless and supportive transition into clinical practice. The program includes: A comprehensive induction week. Weekly 1:1 supervision sessions. Dedicated shadowing opportunities. Core skills training and internal professional development (PD). Fortnightly group mentoring. Regular mental health check-ins. Access to support from multidisciplinary senior clinicians. Requirements Candidates are required to possess the following: A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy. Current AHPRA registration. Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening, and a Police Check. A current Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
