Job Description

Job Title: Administrator As a General Administrator, you will play a vital role by supporting the day-to-day business operations. Key Performance Areas: Time & Attendance Management Monitor and maintain attendance records of drivers and operational staff Ensure accurate timekeeping and processing of logbook data Report on absenteeism, overtime, and shift compliance Coordinate with HR and payroll for accurate processing of hours worked Manage and submit weekly allowance payments Diesel Usage & Fuel Management Track daily diesel consumption across the fleet Capture all diesel transactions Monitor fuel reconciliations and variances Investigate fuel discrepancies or irregular usage patterns Assist in implementing controls to minimize fuel wastage or theft General Administrative Duties Filing and organizing documents (attendance, diesel logs, delivery notes, etc.) Data entry and updating spreadsheets and internal systems Answering phones and handling basic staff or driver queries Assisting with preparing reports and summaries for management Coordinating with HR, payroll, and operations teams for daily admin tasks Requirements: Grade 12 qualification Drivers licence Proven experience in a similar administrative or operational role (experience in transport/logistics preferred) Strong understanding of time & attendance systems and fuel monitoring practices Excellent Excel and reporting skills High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Integrity, reliability, and a commitment to accountability Previous experience on Datatim- advantageous Language: English (Required) Afrikaans (Required)
