Job Description
CORE PURPOSE OF JOB Food service assistance and customer service. Knowledge of food preparation, Food hygiene and health & safety requirements KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Assist with preparation of food and beverage items. Maintain quality standards in food preparation and presentation and in accordance with food, health and safety requirements. Work with Chef and/or cook in meeting food preparation requirements based on recipe and menu. Provide support on quality food preparation and output relevant to catering events. CORE COMPETENCIES The incumbent of this position must have: Customer services orientation Results-orientation Attention to Detail Teamwork and Collaboration Quality Ability to work under pressure Flexibility Quality orientated. Attentiveness MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 08. 0-12 months relevant experience in a catering and hospitality environment. Knowledge of food preparation, Hygiene, knowledge of health and safety requirements. Great customer service.
