Multi Skilled Engineer Sector: Food Manufacturing Location: Suffolk Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £55,670 p/a Working Hours: Rotating Days & Nights (Panama) iSQ Recruitment is seeking an experience and proactive Multi Skilled Engineer to join a fast-paced, 24/7 food production environment. This is a hands-on role, working as part of a dedicated engineering team to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of a large-scale processing and packaging facility. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a range of machinery — from product handling and milling systems to packaging and site infrastructure — supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities. Working closely with operations, you’ll play a key role in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and ensuring consistent plant performance. * Please note this client does not offer Visa sponsorship, only candidates with full Right to Work in the UK and relevant experience to this role will be considered. The successful candidate must also have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle. You’ll work 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights. Skills, Knowledge & Competencies Qualified to ONC/HNC level in Engineering, supported by a recognised apprenticeship. Demonstrated experience working within a lean manufacturing environment, ideally within the FMCG sector. Strong background in technical fault-finding, maintenance, and continuous improvement, with a proven ability to resolve complex issues effectively. Comfortable operating within multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating across different skill sets and departments. Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental risks within complex production settings, particularly those related to food and feed manufacturing.
