Senior Network Engineer

The Role Deliver planned works, maintenance, and project activities across diverse network systems. Respond to faults and outages, ensuring rapid restoration and service continuity. Manage the full lifecycle of network devices upgrades, commissioning, and decommissioning. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth solution transitions. Support continuous improvement and innovation across operations. Engage with stakeholders and suppliers to maintain quality and service performance. Apply expertise in data centre, cloud, and network automation technologies. Experience: Strong track record in troubleshooting complex enterprise and data centre networks. Hands-on Cisco experience (routing, switching, wireless, ACI, F5, cloud). Knowledge of network security, automation, and scripting. Collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. Willingness to support out-of-hours work and on-call duties. Qualifications: Degree or higher-level apprenticeship in Computing, Electronics, or Communications (or equivalent experience). Location: Hybrid (travel to offices near Winchester or Chalfont 12 days per week) Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
