Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing. Implement test automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and Karate / RestAssured . Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria. Execute regression, functional, and integration testing in CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and reusability. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous testing improvements. Required Skills & Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on automation testing experience. Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver with Java for UI automation. Proven experience in API Automation using Karate and/or RestAssured frameworks . Good understanding of TestNG / JUnit , Maven / Gradle , and Git . Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Familiarity with JSON, XML, and RESTful APIs . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good to Have: Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) . Exposure to cloud-based testing or Docker . Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies .
