Junior Strategy Consultant - Digital Business Strategy

Your Role And Responsibilities As a Junior Strategy Consultant in IBM's Enterprise Strategy team, you will provide critical support to senior consultants and leadership, contributing to the creation, visualization, and execution of strategies that foster innovation and business reinvention for our clients. Your role will be crucial in helping to establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, ensuring strategic alignment and risk mitigation across complex programs. Your Responsibilities Will Include Supporting strategic analysis and the application of hypothesis-driven thinking to develop actionable insights for senior executives. Assisting in the definition and implementation of strategic governance models for large-scale transformation initiatives. Contributing to the planning and management of strategic project workstreams, gaining experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies. Conducting research on emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Hybrid Cloud) and market trends to inform digital growth strategies. Preparing materials and deliverables for leadership and the C-Suite. Collaborating on the analysis and quantification of value derived from new strategies, including AI. Preferred Education Master's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in analytical, project management, or consulting roles, including academic or extracurricular contexts. Proven theoretical understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and preparation of high-level presentations. Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and their business impact (e.g., AI, Cloud, IoT). Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Master's Degree (or in progress) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a strategic/analytical field. Internship experience (or equivalent activity) within a consulting firm or a technology-focused company. Any basic certification (e.g., Scrum Foundation, or courses/certificates from learning platforms). Knowledge of specific industries or verticals undergoing significant digital transformation.
