Employer Engagement Officer

We are seeking a confident individual to join our Employability team to promote the importance of work experience to our students, employers and the wider community. In this role you will maximise opportunities for our learners to gain real-world experience, working with employers across Swindon and Wiltshire, with a focus on equipping students with the skills and confidence to thrive in the workplace. What you’ll do: Engage with local employers to create work experience and T-Level placement opportunities Build and maintain sustainable employer relationships across multiple sectors Match students with suitable placements and support them throughout their experience Ensure placements meet Health & Safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirements Work with curriculum teams to support employability events, talks, and career activities Track, monitor and report on placement activity and employer engagement outcomes What we’re looking for: Minimum Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve within set timeframe) Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills Experience engaging with employers or external partners in a similar role Excellent organisational skills and confidence using Microsoft Office Full, clean driving licence and flexibility to travel locally for employer visits We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sectors of the community.
