Maintenance Engineer £42,000 Overtime Wigan 3x Shift (Earlies/Lates/Nights) gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias to work at their facility based near Wigan Performance Objectives Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on machinery and site utilities. Carry out electrical & some mechanical maintenance tasks. Support equipment installations and upgrades. Drive uptime and reliability by quickly resolving breakdowns. Uphold Food Safety, Health & Safety, and Hygiene standards. Collaborate with internal departments for effective communication and minimal disruption. Identify and implement engineering improvements.Person Specification HNC in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Solid understanding of health & safety and food safety regulations. Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. A problem-solving, hands-on approach and continuous improvement mindset.
