Mechanical Engineer / Fabrication Engineer

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in York, This client are a fast paced Production facility looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Fabrication Engineer on a contract basis to carry out Maintenance, repairs and fabrication work of the building. 07:00am – 19:00pm - Saturday and Sunday. The Role: * Relevant Level 3 Engineering Qualification or apprenticeship. * Maintenance, repairs and fabrication of the building. * Welding experience * Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment * Patching of panels. * Flooring repairs. * Curbing repairs. * Sanding and painting of rusted metals. * Repairing doors. * General maintenance and repairs with some welding. * Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations. You must be available to start Immediately. The pay rate is £30.00ph - £33.00ph 07:00am – 19:00pm - Saturday and Sunday
