Position : 9001710 Expected Start Date: January 30th, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Surgical Nursing Unit - Unit 5000 RUH Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Physician Assistant Degree $51.102 to $62.5 Job Description: Physician Assistants (PAs) are academically and clinically educated medical generalists who practice medicine within a formalized relationship with a Physician. Regulated by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), PAs collect and interpret medical information, make appropriate clinical decisions, and carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement approved by the CPSS. Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field, is an asset Education Completion of an accredited PA degree program recognized by PACCC Licenses (May be asked to provide proof of meeting maintenance of certification) Valid Class 5 driver's license Membership and Licensure in good standing with the CPSS as a PA; or Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) through PACCC; or Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) through the NCCPA. Eligible for registration with CPSS (for applicants outside of Saskatchewan).
