Recreation Aide (casual) Extendicare Viking

Job Description The Recreation Aide is responsible for: planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic and diversion programs documenting resident participation in activities coordinating and participating in general resident care The Recreation Aide will assist in: Fundraising efforts for the department Liaising with stakeholders (e.g. school, service clubs) Facilitating resident, family and volunteer i ntera ct ion . The Recreation Aide will: Obtain feedback from customers and implement improvement strategies and recommend improvement activities Carry out all assigned training and duties in compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policy. Respect and preserve the privacy, confidentiality and security of resident and workers' personal and health information.
