MUST HAVE INPATIENT REHAB EXP IN A HOSPITAL SETTING TO BE CONSIDERED About the Position Position/Specialty: Physical Therapist Assistant Shift: 5x8s, 8:00am 4:30pm Weekend REQ: Possibly one weekend per month Is on-call REQ? (Y/N): No Holiday REQ: Yes Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? (Y/N): No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: Will accept new grad with fieldwork experience in inpatient rehab First-time travelers accepted (Y/N): Yes- should have fieldwork experience working in inpatient rehab setting License REQ: South Carolina PTA LIcense Certs REQ: BLS Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? (Y/N): N/A Local Radius: 60 miles Locals Accepted: No locals accepted RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Hospital based inpatient rehab unit Total Staffed Beds: 28 Scrub Color: Pewter Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Free parking Hurricane Season Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
