Position : 9006622 (49539) Expected Start Date: November 24, 2025 Union: SUN Facility: Pasqua Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: Ostomy & Wound Resource Team Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.8 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 24 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No Human Resources Exemption: No QUALIFICATIONS: Education Graduate from an approved School of Nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is desired. Certification in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or equivalent program is required. Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) Possession of, and ability to maintain current registration as RN (NP) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS). Current BCLS certifications. Preference will be given to individuals who possess Advanced Wound Care Certificate or greater from an accredited institution. Experience Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, public health or acute care. Minimum of one (1) year experience in community needs assessment, community development and health promotion. Other Possess valid driver’s license and where required have access to a vehicle available for work. Scheduled hours of work may be reduced (if applicable) during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Demonstrates knowledge of community services, programs and resources. Knowledge of health promotion and population health principles and concepts. Knowledge of health promotion for wound healing, wound healing techniques. Knowledge of common medical conditions and treatments. Demonstrates ability to recognize the need for holistic care to individuals, Demonstrates responsible decision making ability through the application of critical thinking. Demonstrates effective and professional verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. Demonstrates leadership and organizational skills. Demonstrates ability to show initiative and self-direction. Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change. Demonstrates empathy, trust and respect in the provision of care. Strong assessment and counseling skills. Ability to apply methods and principles of nursing process.
