Job Description Job Description Garrett Engineering, LLC is a growing civil engineering and surveying firm serving communities and clients across Missouri. We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a strong background in civil infrastructure design to join our team of experienced engineers and surveyors. Key Responsibilities: Manage and design civil engineering projects, including water systems, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, and site development. Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, grading design, and utility layout. Review and seal engineering drawings, reports, and specifications. Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies. Provide guidance and oversight to E.I.s and CAD technicians. Support project delivery from concept through construction. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Current Missouri Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. Minimum 4 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering software . Strong understanding of Missouri DNR and MoDOT standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with municipal clients and public infrastructure funding mechanisms (e.g., SRF, CDBG). Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) credential (or willingness to obtain). Project management experience including budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
