Technical Writer (SCA Code 30462: TECHNICAL WRITER II) MINIMUM EDUCATION: Shall possess a BS degree in a Business, Journalism or Technical field or substitute 5 or more years of professional experience of related efforts. Education shall be obtained from an accredited college or university. PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Should capable of revising or writing material for reports, manuals, briefs, and related technical concerning materials engineering programs in the areas of marine corrosion, materials engineering, corrosion engineering, electrochemistry, coatings assessment, coating testing, and environmental effects as related to US Marine Corps, US Navy vessels, vehicles, weapon systems, and related equipment. CLEARANCE: Shall hold or be capable of obtaining a Secret clearance prior to being granted access to classified information up to the level of Secret.
