Simulation & Control Engineer Location: Bristol, UK (Long Ashton) - Onsite Salary: Competitive Benefits Arca Resourcing is supporting a fast-growing, high-performance engineering company based in Bristol in the search for a Simulation & Control Engineer . This is a rare opportunity to join a cutting-edge team at the forefront of real-time simulation, robotics, and control systems, with direct involvement in the delivery of world-class simulation technology to top-tier clients across automotive and motorsport sectors. The Role As a Graduate Simulation & Control Engineer, you’ll gain hands-on experience from day one. Working within a small, highly technical team, you’ll: Commission robotic control software for advanced simulation systems, both on-site and at customer locations Evaluate, test, and improve the performance of physical simulator platforms Integrate electrical and control subsystems into complete simulation solutions Use real-time telemetry to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues Build and operate test rigs using sensors, actuators, and real-time control systems Support and improve simulator performance in live environments What We’re Looking For This role is ideal for a high-achieving, early-career engineer with a strong academic background and a passion for solving real-world technical challenges. We’re looking for: A First-Class Honours degree in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, Maths, Computer Science or a closely related discipline A red brick university or equivalent top-tier academic institution Excellent A-Level results , including Maths and Science subjects Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g. Python, MATLAB) A rigorous and analytical approach to problem solving Strong grasp of Physics and Maths fundamentals A proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small team What You Can Expect Early responsibility and meaningful work on complex, fast-paced projects A technical deep-dive into simulation, modelling and control Daily use of industry tools such as TwinCAT and Python Exposure to both virtual simulations and real-world systems Close collaboration with experts in robotics, control, and high-performance systems Opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge solutions delivered to leading automotive and motorsport clients If you're an ambitious graduate with outstanding academic credentials, practical problem-solving ability, and a passion for engineering systems that bridge the physical and virtual worlds, we’d love to hear from you.
