Chair of Trustees - Volunteer Role Are you a visionary leader passionate about youth empowerment and mental health? REACH Minds is seeking an exceptional Chair to lead our Board of Trustees and guide our charity through its foundational phase. As a youth-led organisation, we're looking for someone who can champion young people's voices while providing strategic leadership and governance expertise. Key Responsibilities: Support charity establishment: Help with charity registration, constitution development, and initial setup Provide inspirational leadership to the Board of Trustees Ensure effective governance and strategic direction Champion our youth-led approach and values Build relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, funders, and youth organisations Support the recruitment and development of trustees and young ambassadors Act as a spokesperson and ambassador for REACH Minds Chair board meetings and ensure effective decision-making Support the Founder and senior staff in achieving organisational objectives Oversee the development of initial policies and procedure Person Specification: Proven leadership experience at board/senior management level Commitment to youth empowerment and mental health advocacy Understanding of charity governance and trustee responsibilities Experience with charity setup and registration processes Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Time Commitment: Initial setup phase: Additional time for registration and setup Monthly board meetings Quarterly strategy sessions Approximately 10-15 hours per month Apply by November 30th 2025 https://forms.office.com/r/BxE18XRa5W
