BD Manager Consumer / Retail

Business Development Manager – 9 month FTC aligned to the Retail and Consumer group in highly innovative law firm. London based with hybrid working. This is one of the world’s most innovative law firms - well known for its entrepreneurial approach and great culture as well as its expertise in the TMT and life sciences sectors, working for some of the biggest blue chip clients in the world. In this Business Development Manager role, you will be aligned to the firm’s Retail and Consumer sector group. You will cover sabbatical leave for 9 months, but the firm has a good reputation for extended contractors and finding permanent roles for them. This is a full mix marketing and BD role which on a day-to-day basis will involve: Working with the partners to develop and implement the business development plan; Facilitating cross-selling opportunities; Working on bids, proposals and credentials; Developing and running campaigns and thought leadership; Other profile raising initiatives such as events, social media, directory and award submissions; Managing a BD Coordinator. You will have really solid marketing and business development experience gained in a major law or accounting/consulting firm. The team will consider a Senior BD Executive stepping up for this role as well as experienced managers.
