Job Description

Xpert Resourcing are working with a niche business based close to Mildenhall who are looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering and be used to servicing and repairing a wide range of equipment and have excellent problem solving and fault analysis. In addition to this as the Electrical Engineer for the business you will need to understand electrical drawings, symbols and ideally understand different process control equipment. Duties will include: Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems. Check and maintain process control equipment. Interpret electrical drawings and symbols. Collaborate with shift teams and leaders to ensure minimal interference with production. Apply mechanical knowledge to support the integration of electrical components with mechanical systems. Maintain documentation of designs, testing procedures, and project progress. Experience / skills required: A recognised apprenticeship or Electrical Engineering qualifications. Proven experience in electrical design and system engineering is highly desirable. Inspection and testing qualifications. Ideally have experience with pneumatics.
