Working within an attractive campus, you'll be part of a friendly multi-trade team, keeping facilities safe and well-maintained. The Role Carry out a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance carpentry across campus buildings. Repair and install door hardware, access control, and fire-release mechanisms. Assemble and fit kitchen units and worktops. Support listed building works and help preserve heritage assets. Provide input on small projects, estimates, and improvements. Join the on-call rota (one weekend in 4-5) with a £2,750 allowance plus overtime for call-outs. Work independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team. The Person NVQ Level 3 or recognised apprenticeship in Carpentry (or equivalent). Skilled in maintenance carpentry across doors, fittings, and building fabric. Able to use woodworking machinery and handheld tools confidently. Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently. Holds a full UK driving licence. Flexible to join the on-call rota when required. Benefits include Salary £27,000-£30,000 £2,750 on-call allowance. Overtime opportunities (average extra £2,750 per year). 32 days' holiday (incl.
