Job Description

CGN Europe Energy is specialized in the development, investment, operation and maintenance of renewable energy projects including wind power and solar energy, with assets spread across France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden. To date, its total investment in Europe has exceeded 3 billion euros ($3.3 billion), while its total installed capacity now reaches 2.4GW. We are looking for an intern to assist the legal department in our France Headquarter. As the legal intern within the Legal & Compliance Department of CGNEE, you will collaborate with a team of seven members, working on a diverse range of legal matters, not only in French law but also in countries where CGNEE has its assets. Your daily tasks include, but not limited to: Daily follow-up on legal aspects of CGN EE's projects across Europe and Africa; Legal research on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to contract law, corporate law, business law, public and environment law, EU law, etc. Legal monitoring related to CGNEE's activities; Contract review (NDA, MoU, SHA, PPA, O&M, land lease, insurance policies, etc.); Internal reporting and legal risk assessments. Qualifications : Master's Degree (M2) in Private Law / Business Law / Energy Law EFB/Post CAPA Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlool) Proficiency in legal database (Dalloz, Practical Law) General insights on the energy sector in France and Europe Fluent in English and French Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in drafting legal documents in both English and French Organizational and time management abilities Ability to work in multicultural environment
