Employment Type: Full-Time (3-month probation period) Salary: R15,000 - R25,000 per month (depending on experience) Company Overview First Fire is an ASIB-listed Supervising Sprinkler Installer, the highest level of listing available in South Africa. Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Field Technician to join our Service Department. This field-based role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of fire protection systems at our client sites. Key Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Weekly testing of fire pumps and installation of control valves (ICVs) Responding to client call-outs for repairs and checks Managing subcontractors when required Attending on-site meetings and performing technical assessments ICV servicing Troubleshooting and resolving system issues on-site Minimum Requirements: Aged between 21 and 35 years Grade 12 / Matric certificate Valid driver's license and reliable own transport (company to reimburse fuel) No criminal record Physically fit and able to work at heights Willingness to work overtime when required Preferred (Advantageous): Experience in fire sprinkler systems or related fields Knowledge of ASIB / SANS 10287 standards Experience working in a maintenance environment Basic computer literacy (Excel, email, report writing) Good communication and teamwork skills Reporting To: Sales Department What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Supportive and professional team environment Opportunity to work with one of South Africas leading names in fire protection
