Job Description
Job Title Manager - Climate Performance Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate sustainability professional to help drive Sage's global climate agenda. As Manager - Climate Performance, you'll play a key role in delivering our Protect the Planet strategy - turning bold commitments into real impact. This role sits at the heart of our Sustainability and Sage Foundation team. You'll work with colleagues, customers, and partners around the world to help Sage manage the risks and opportunities of climate change - while accelerating our journey to Net Zero. You'll have the space to shape ideas, the support to grow your expertise, and the chance to make a real difference across our business and our global community. This role is hybrid, 3 days in office in our Newcastle or London offices. Key Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing: You'll help bring Sage's Protect the Planet strategy to life - delivering projects that drive emissions reduction, sustainable operations, and meaningful climate action across Sage and our ecosystem. Working closely with the Senior Manager - Climate Performance and key teams such as procurement, facilities, risk, and communications, you'll turn our climate goals into practical, measurable actions. You'll track and report progress against our sustainability targets, helping us stay transparent and accountable. You'll keep a close eye on new developments in climate science, regulation, and reporting frameworks, ensuring Sage stays ahead of the curve. You'll also identify and champion innovative opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions - across our operations, supply chain, and customer base. By designing smart targets and KPIs, you'll make sure our plans translate into real decarbonisation and progress toward Net Zero. Finally, you'll work across teams to connect the dots - finding synergies between sustainability initiatives, collaborating with the Sage Earth team, and driving integration across our wider business strategy. About You: You're passionate about climate action and ready to turn that passion into impact. You're curious, proactive, and comfortable working across teams and functions. You enjoy translating strategy into clear, practical steps - and you're just as comfortable discussing data and metrics as you are engaging with stakeholders. You stay up to date on climate trends, reporting frameworks, and sustainability best practices. Most of all, you're motivated by purpose - helping businesses and communities thrive while protecting the planet. Why Join Us: At Sage, you'll be part of a global company with a bold vision: helping businesses flow while driving positive change for people and the planet. You'll join a supportive, collaborative team where your work truly matters - and where you can help shape a more sustainable future for us all. If you're excited by the idea of turning climate strategy into meaningful action, we'd love to hear from you. Benefits?
