Logistics Intern

The ideal candidate will provide support to Inbound, Outbound, and Foreign Trade Analysts in their responsibilities and roles, learning and interacting with the entire material and information flow required by internal Logistics systems and SSAB Brasil customers. In this role the Intern will be able to update indicators, fill out information in logistics documents, participate in meetings with logistics partners, both Foreign Trade and transportation, industrialization and warehouse operations, and participate in the analysis of indicators, nonconformities, and the evaluation of the logistics system. Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring Logistics indicators. Learn how to update the unit's indicators, participating in their presentation and dissemination. Study the logistics modes that serve the SSAB Brazil unit and also consider other modes as alternatives. Participate in the evaluation of the SSAB Brazil Logistics System, acquiring the ability to conduct internal assessments for system corrections/improvements. Participate in the preparation, review, and control of the various documents produced or received by the unit that impact Logistics. Understand and be able to retrieve documents from their various storage locations, whether physical or electronic. Compose the team to investigate nonconformities related to the unit's operations. Develop the ability to conduct meetings for investigation, analysis, and proposal of corrective and preventive actions. Qualifications: Currently attending college, preferable Business Administration, Logistics, Information Systems or Engineering. Advanced English skills. Intermediate Excel. Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills. Focus in achieving results, being organized and working with deadlines. Be ethical, empathic and identify with company values.
