TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Pay Information $2,275 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Level I Trauma Experience Pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance Strong IV skills required Description: Nurses will be expected to complete skills assessments related to Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Competency in maintaining sterile fields is crucial for success. Each nurse will undergo educational sessions on lifts, restraints, and wound care, which may differ by facility. Unit has a high patient acuity with a variety of complex cardiac cases, including recovery from cardiac surgeries. A significant number of bedside procedures are performed regularly. Nurses will float to other intensive care and telemetry units as needed. The typical patient ratio in telemetry units is 4:1. There is a strong presence of specialists on-call for critical situations. The job requires compliance with weekend and holiday shift rotations as part of the schedule.
