Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor

Summary of DutiesSummary of Duties: Assist and work at the direction of a faculty member providing instruction in a clinical setting in which nursing care is delivered to an individual or group of individuals. Duties & Responsibilities * Facilitate clinical instruction of nursing students for 4-12 contact hours per week. * Provide input to nursing student's achievement and progress according to Chapter 4723-5-19 of the Ohio Administrative Code. * Supervise students in the clinical setting according to Chapter 4723-5-20 Section (E), of the Ohio Revised Code. * Be committed to implementation of the philosophy and conceptual framework of the Nursing Program. * Perform other duties as assigned. Experience, Skills & Abilities*Requires:* * Requires two or more years' experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. * Must be willing and able to work evening and weekend hours if needed and to teach clinical in outlying clinical facilities. * Requires an appreciation for and understanding of the Community College mission. *Preferred:* * Prior clinical teaching experience in a practical nursing, associate degree program, or community college. Education & Certifications*ADN Educational Requirements*: * Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing (BSN). * Graduate of an approved registered nursing education program. * Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio or Multi-State license that is valid in the State of Ohio. OR *PN Educational Requirements*: * Associates’ Degree in Nursing (ADN). * Graduate of an approved registered nursing education program. * Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio or Multi-State license that is valid in the State of Ohio.
