Schedule: Full Time Shift :Various shifts available Location: AdventHealth Daytona Beach - Imaging Department The community you'll be caring for: 301 MEMORIAL MEDICAL PKWY, Daytona Beach, 32117 The role you'll contribute: Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies. The value you'll bring to the team: Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed. Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. Other duties as assigned. Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards. Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner. Performs imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications : High School Grad or Equiv Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required Certified Radiologic Tech (CR-TECH) Required or Physicist-Rad Therapy IEMA (PHYS-RAD) Required or KY Med Imagin/Rad (KBMIRT) Required or Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) Required or Lic Radiology Technologist (LRT-TECH) Required Preferred qualifications : Associate Preferred Bachelor's Preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
