Job Description

A confidential UK innovation company is hiring a Solution Architect / Innovation Lead to lead end-to-end design and delivery across A I, cyber , space and telecoms , engineering biology and adjacent emerging tech . You will own complex client outcomes, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and turn market insight into high-impact solutions and decision-ready recommendations. What you will do Lead solution architecture and delivery for innovation programmes from discovery to implementation, managing consultants and associates to hit scope, quality and timelines. Advise senior stakeholders on how to engage with the emerging technology ecosystem and convert trends into robust solution designs . Produce high-impact artefacts - roadmaps, reference architectures, reports and exec-ready presentations - that drive investment and delivery decisions. Build and nurture partnerships across startups, scaleups, enterprise and government to unlock mission-driven innovation. Contribute to growth through proposals and public sector tenders where relevant. What you will bring Proven experience leading technology, innovation or venture-led projects, ideally mentoring startups or working in accelerators or complex enterprise environments. Strength in stakeholder influence, relationship building and navigating matrixed environments. Excellent written and verbal communication for senior audiences, with the judgement to make clear, defensible recommendations. Domain familiarity across one or more areas such as AI and data, cyber, space and telecoms, biotechnology or IoT. Degree or equivalent professional experience required. Security and eligibility This work often interfaces with sensitive national missions. SC eligibility is essential and pre-existing SC or DV is required . You must be a British citizen or have 5 years continuous UK residency to qualify. Package Salary £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience Annual bonus, up to 10 percent employer pension, private healthcare, life assurance, critical illness cover 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, volunteering day Why this role You will shape solutions at the edge of science and technology while working with a highly collaborative team that partners across government, industry and the startup ecosystem.
