Based in Portsmouth , this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Electrical Fitters to contribute to a prestigious programme in a secure, long-term role. ⚓️ Location: Portsmouth Project: Naval Shipbuilding Programme Contract Duration: TBC Employment Type: PAYE (Inside IR35) Position: Electrical Fitter PAYE Rates Local - Under 39 miles: Standard shift £20.10 Early shift £23.12 Backshift £25.13 PAYE Rates Local - Over 39 miles: Standard shift £28.10 Early shift £31.12 Backshift £33.13 Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and test electrical systems on naval vessels • Interpret and work from technical drawings and wiring diagrams • Perform cable pulling, terminations, and general marine electrical tasks • Ensure all work meets MOD standards and strict H&S compliance ✅ Requirements: • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship • Experience in marine, industrial, or shipbuilding environments preferred • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Shifts & Overtime: Standard shift Early shift Backshift Apply Now Don’t miss your chance to be part of a world-class defence programme.
