ID: 72828517 Shift: DAYS - 8HR: 0700-1530 or 0600-1430 Description: Cardiac Stress Exercise Physiologist IPJob Summary: To provide professional care to patients undergoing Cardiac Stress Testing, including but not limited to: patient preparation and IV starts, ECG lead placement and interpretation, and administration of exercise and pharmacological stress tests using nuclear, non-nuclear, and MRI imaging. The stress test provider will collaborate with the medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide high quality patient care. Performs all activities in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and guidelines at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Gastonia, CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont, CaroMont Heart & Vascular-Gastonia, and CaroMont Heart & Vascular-Belmont.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree required. Meets general hospital and departmental competency requirements. Must have current CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician) or CET (Certified Electrocardiogram Technician) certification. If not CCT or CET certified, it is required within 3 months of hire date. Registered Exercise Physiologist by the American College of Sports Medicine required. BLS and ACLS certification required. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing. Guaranteed Hours: Contract
