Year 2 Teacher

Overview: Are you a Year 2 Class Teacher (with QTS) looking for a dynamic new teaching role in an excellent primary school in Stevenage? Do you enjoy inspiring students across Year 2 with engaging lessons? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Class Teacher who can work full-time until July 2026. You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their overall development. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential. You will need to: * Work as a Year 2 Class Teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. * Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development. * Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience. * Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding. * Within your role as a Year 2 Class Teacher you will need to teach the Year 2 / KS1 Curriculum. Qualifications * Experience as a Year 2 Class Teacher within a Primary School.(Preferred) * Qualified Teacher Status (Essential) * Strong knowledge of the KS1 / Year 2 curriculum * Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to inspire and motivate students This position is employed via T4 Teachers.
