Electrician Are you an experienced Electrician looking for more variety and challenge in your day-to day work? Do you enjoy solving electrical problems and keeping fast-moving production lines running smoothly? MacGregor Black are looking to appoint a qualified Electrician to join a busy Food Manufacturing site in Yorkshire. You’ll play a key role in keeping the site running efficiently by maintaining and improving electrical systems across high peed production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and inspections. Fast, effective fault-finding and repairs on production machinery (conveyors, ovens, slicers, packaging lines). Supporting installations, upgrades, and automation projects. Ensuring compliance with 18th Edition wiring regulations, health & safety, and food safety standards. Collaborating with engineers and production teams to reduce downtime. What We're Looking For: Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment (food desirable). Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. PLC knowledge (Siemens/Allen Bradley) would be a plus.
