Maintenance Engineer - NIGHTS

We are looking for a NIGHTS maintenance Engineer to join a leading business in Sherburn in Elmet The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running, maintenance, and repair of machinery, plant, and systems to support continuous production in a high-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on FMCG machinery and equipment • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations • Support production to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency • Provide accurate communication and updates across departments • Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives • Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure full compliance with site procedures Candidate Requirements • Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Apprenticeship trained preferred) • Previous experience maintaining FMCG production machinery • Minimum Level 2 in Food Safety • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills • Excellent communication and organisational abilities • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Reliable, proactive, and strong team player Benefits • Competitive salary (from £50,000, depending on experience) • Company pension scheme • Employee discount programme • Free on-site parking • Cycle to work scheme • Health & wellbeing programme • Bereavement leave • Company events • Referral programme
