Grant Writing & Research Intern (US-Based)

Job Location

minneapolis, MN, United States

Job Description

Tradechive is a growing peer-to-peer fashion marketplace built for the new generation of resellers, traders, and collectors. We focus on high-end, streetwear, and circular/sustainable fashion — connecting passionate buyers and sellers through a more creative, scam-free experience.

We’re currently looking for a Grant Writing & Research Intern to join our small but driven founding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain real experience in startup development, funding research, and business strategy — especially in fashion and e-commerce.

What you’ll do:

Research and identify grants, funding programs, and startup opportunities in the U.S.

Assist in writing grant proposals, business plans, and funding applications.

Conduct market research on fashion resale trends, competitors, and potential partners.

Help organize key data and insights to support Tradechive’s growth and pitch materials.

Collaborate directly with the founders on strategy and presentation writing.

Who you are:

Based in the U.S. (remote, flexible hours).

Interested in startups, fashion, and creative business development.

Strong writer and researcher — experience in grant writing is a plus but not required.

Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in finding new opportunities.

What we offer:

Hands-on experience working directly with Tradechive’s founders.

Mentorship in startup operations, marketing, and business strategy.

Flexible remote schedule and potential for future paid opportunities.

Job Requirements

Must be based in the United States (remote work available).

Strong writing and research skills — ability to find and analyze funding opportunities, grants, or market data.

Interest in fashion, startups, and creative industries.

Detail-oriented and self-motivated; comfortable working independently with a small founding team.

Prior experience with grant writing, academic research, or business proposal writing is a plus, but not required.

Able to dedicate 5–10 flexible hours per week.

Familiarity with Google Docs, Sheets, or Notion is helpful.

How To Apply

To apply, please email your resume and a short introduction (1–2 paragraphs about who you are, your interests, and why you’d like to join Tradechive) to kylie.tradechive@gmail.com with the subject line “Tradechive Internship – Your Name”.

We’re looking for US-based interns who are passionate about fashion, streetwear, and creative business. No previous experience required—just enthusiasm, initiative, and willingness to learn.

Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for a quick virtual chat.
