Cover Supervisor

Academic Appointments are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Rotherham. These roles are ideal for graduates, teaching assistants, or individuals with youth work experience who are confident managing a classroom. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher * Ensure pupils complete set work and maintain classroom order * Support students with queries and encourage positive behaviour * Liaise with school staff and report any concerns * Follow safeguarding and school policies Requirements: * Experience working with secondary-aged pupils * Strong classroom presence and behaviour management * DBS certificate (or willingness to apply) * Flexible and professional attitude Benefits: * Daily rates from £110 to £135, paid weekly * Opportunities in a variety of school settings * Support from a dedicated consultant * Access to CPD and safeguarding updates * Local work to reduce travel time Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
