This role will suit a young, driven Mechanical Engineer who is eager to gain hands-on experience and develop both technically and professionally. Youll be part of a close-knit management-level team, working on exciting projects across South Africa and the African continent. Exposure to rotating machinery such as gearboxes, turbines, and blowers will be highly advantageous. Minimum Requirements: BTech/BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering 3 years experience in a mechanical/project engineering environment Comfortable working at a management level and engaging with clients directly Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Experience with rotating equipment is highly advantageous (industrial grade gearboxes, turbines, blowers, etc.) Willingness and ability to travel nationally and across Africa (typically 46 weeks per project) Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team Valid drivers license and own vehicle Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with engineering design, fault finding, and root cause analysis Support the execution of mechanical projects from inception through to final commissioning Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and client updates Participate in quality assurance processes and project compliance standards Support R&D initiatives and contribute to system optimisation Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders Represent the business professionally on project sites across Africa This opportunity is ideal for a mechanically minded, driven individual who wants to grow within a company long-term.
