Maintenance Fitter

Purpose of the Job: The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for maintaining and repairing company machinery and equipment. Requirements: 1. Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. 2. Red Seal Fitter Qualification 3. Minimum of 5-7 years working experience as a Fitter. 4. Relevant technical training in fitting, welding, or machinery operation is an advantage. 5. Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, installation, maintenance, and repair. 6. Experience in using machinery such as drills, grinders, and welding equipment. 7. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in mechanical work environments. 8. Familiarity with tools and equipment for assembly, fitting, and maintenance. 9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 10. Ability to work and solve problems independently. 11. Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors. 12. Fluent in English (Speak, Read & Write) 13. Attention to Detail 14. Flexible and adaptability to rapid environmental changes 15. Must be willing to work overtime when required or if breakdowns occur.
