Technical Advisor - Africa

We are looking for a Technical Advisor who will be responsible for sales of retrofit chutes and projects, new projects and after sales. Develop and retain clientele. Achieve revenue goals. Provide Support for the regional agents in Africa. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Sales experience in the mining industry is a prerequisite. Dry plant experience of minimum 5-10 years. Preferably, chutes and other bulk handling equipment such as conveyors, etc. Relationships on the mines in the areas mentioned above essential. Minimum Grade 12 or N3. A relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or Mining activities would be advantageous. Computer Literate. Multi-lingual and have good communication skills. Must have a valid passport and drivers licence. Must be of good health to comply with client and company requirements. Self-discipline, motivated, outgoing. Work independently with minimal supervision SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS Must be able to work overtime. Must be able to plan trips, and movements to suit the needs of the clients. Must be able to maintain productivity and discipline. Good management skills. Must be able to prepare Management Reports. Must be able to provide support to agents.
